We host a great range of social events throughout the year including the black tie Commemoration of the Battle of the Coral Sea Dinner as well as more casual sporting and cultural events. Visit our Events page for a list of past and upcoming events.

Networking Events

Our members come from all walks of life, and include professionals across the public and private sector, in a range of industries. It is a great place to meet a broad range of people with a shared mutual interest in international and multi-cultural affairs.

Speaker Series

In our monthly speaker series held at the National Press Club, you have the opportunity to hear from leaders in government and private sector speak on topics ranging from history, politics to military.  Check out our Events page for past and upcoming speakers.

Giving Back

We have recently re-initiated the annual Australian American Association Canberra Scholarship for promising Canberran youth to travel to the US for study or career development. Learn more here. There are also mentoring opportunities available. Contact us for more details.

Our members tend to have a shared interest in international relations and a commitment to the ideals that bind Australia and America.

Historical Significance

Our history goes back to the 1930s, and our  members played a significant role in shaping the enduring relationship between Australia and America. We welcome you to become a part of our future and the future of Australian American relations. Read more on our history here.
