The AAA was pleased to host a Thanksgiving gathering, bringing together members, Canberra Services Club affiliates, and friends to celebrate community, connection, and gratitude.
While the Canberra Services Club—our much loved “Servo”—has long been a cherished home for our community, the gathering was a powerful reminder that even without a physical home, our spirit remains strong. We are especially grateful to our neighbours at Hotel Kurrajong for their generous support in hosting us in their Whiskey Lounge and helping make the occasion so special.
Following the challenges of the fire at the Servo, the gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on what unites us: strong friendships, enduring community ties, and an optimistic path forward.
Guests enjoyed a warm and relaxed evening featuring a special “Servo AAA Gratitude Fizz” welcome cocktail, canapés, and festive cheer—an opportunity to reconnect and celebrate all that we have to be thankful for.
It was an uplifting evening that reminding us that while places may change, the spirit of our community endures, and there is still so much to be thankful for.
