Members of the Australian American Association – Canberra Division (AAACBR) were invited to a captivating glassblowing demonstration at Canberra Glassworks. Josie Gluck, Art Group Creative Fellow from Massachusetts, USA, showcased her innovative pattern-making techniques as part of her residency. Her collaboration with local emerging artists added depth and richness to the event, making it an unforgettable experience.

About the Josie Gluck
Artist, designer, and craft-maker, Josie Gluck, is the Interim Program Area Chair in Glass at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she has taught in the glass and sculpture departments since 2016. Co-founder of Vetro Vero (True Glass) design and fabrication studio in Pennsylvania, her glass designs have been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Veranda, and Vogue; and her artwork has been published in New Glass Review and American Craft.
